MP for Yendi Begins Supplying of Free Water to Residents

The Member of Parliament for the Yendi Constituency, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama has begun supplying free water to residents of the area.

The support is aimed to cushion the constituents as the Yendi Municipality battles for good drinking water.

About the water crisis in the Northern Region, Yendi is the most hit area with its township suffering the most.

Today Thursday, several water tankers were detailed to supply water to Nayilifong and Kumfong to supply water.

Other areas including Yendi township, and outskirts have been scheduled to benefit from the free water supply distribution in the coming days. 

The street intervention forms part of the MP’s raft of measures to ameliorate the issues of the water crisis in the Municipality.

Memunatu Yakubu being one of the beneficiaries thanked the Member of Parliament for the plan been rollout to reduce the suffering of the residents.

Expressing her joy, She prayed for success and good luck for the member of parliament.
