Dakpema Palace Attack: Police on a Manhunt for 15 Persons

The Northern Regional Police command says they have launched a manhunt for 15 persons for their involvement in the attack at the Tamale Dakpema Palace.

Supt Bernard Baba Ananga, the Acting Public Relations Officer of the police in the region revealed that the suspects used a white pick-up vehicle in carrying out the attack.

He said, the police have since visited the five victims at the hospital and both are responding to treatment.

According to him, the police saw bullet wounds on the walls of the Dakpema Palace, adding that the chief is in a stable condition.

Yesterday Monday, unknown gunmen invaded the palace of the Dakpema Palace with sophisticated weapons and open fire which resulted in about four persons including the Nyeb Dakpema sustaining various degrees of injury.
