Kumchacha jabs Sonnie Badu: Discuss tattoos while ignoring people who consume pork

The Bible allowed God's people to consume pork in Deuteronomy. I want to let Sonnie Badu know that we need more than just the meat. These days, we aren't receiving any more of it, he claimed.

Kumchacha jabs Sonnie Badu: Discuss tattoos while ignoring people who consume pork

According to Rev. Nicholas Osei, also known as Kumchacha, General Overseer of Heaven's Gate Ministries, UK-based Ghanaian musician Sonnie Badu has no business criticizing Christians who consume pork when he has tattoos all over his body.

The controversial man of God implied recently on Kingdom Radio that the Baba hitmaker shouldn't act hypocritically by criticizing Christians who eat pork when he is possibly worse with tattoos on his body.

"Leviticus 11 was cited by Sonnie Badu in his remarks. But Badu neglected to include lines 19–28, which forbid tattoos. It states that we shouldn't ink pictures of the living or the deceased on our bodies.

Badu was able to discuss the portion of Leviticus that deals with meat but omitted the portion that criticizes the tattoos he has all over his body.

It's not the first time that Sonnie Badu's piercings have drawn attention.

When he first revealed his tattoos to the world in April of last year as the founder of a church, the topic of tattoos on his body came up.

Some criticized him, but he responded that it didn't matter because his wife and family had nothing against it.

In a later interview with Zionfelix, Sonnie Badu said that when it comes to a person's connection with God, the body is unimportant because God is more concerned with the spirit after death.

He urged detractors to abandon the belief that getting a tattoo is sinful.
