Keneshie Police  Arrest Nigerian Narcotics Lady Smuggler

The Kaneshie Divisional Police Command of the Ghana Police Service in the Greater Accra Region has arrested a Nigerian lady by name of Blessing Jeremiah for attempting to smuggle narcotics into police custody.
 
According to the information from the police, Jeremiah tried smuggling some contraband goods for the use of her fiancé on remand has been arrested, and would soon be arraigned before court.
She tried to smuggle the items concealed in the popular Nigerian dish Eba for her boyfriend who is on remand at Keneshie Police Cell after he was arrested and charged with an offense.
The police noted that Jeremiah had brought the Eba and okro soup which was concealed with a dried substance suspected to be Indian Hemp, 4 sticks of matches, 9 capsules of suspected tramadol, and 4 pieces of cigarettes.
The suspect upon interrogation told police she was bringing the exhibits to a remand prisoner Mohammed Bisbaw her fiancé but upon inspection, it was realized that there are some items concealed in them.
The police indicated further examination of the matter revealed that there are some narcotics concealed in them leading to her arrest and remanded into the police custody.
