The aggrieved galamyers were said to have
stormed the premises of Obiasi East Assembly today to to sort assistance from  the DCE to help rescue their colleague victims from the mine. Two of them were reported to have died in the pit since they didn't have access to water, food and proper air.
According to the sources, the illegal miners are said to have sneaked into the pit of the mining company.
The sources told Soireenews.com today that
one of the entrances to the underground mine of the company that the illegal miners passed into the mine was closed.
They pointed out it has remained only one exit which is the main entrance of where the security personnel were stationed to guard the mine.
The sources explained that they understood that six of the illegal miners were asked by the company to come out and that when they came out they were arrested.
They noted that after they were arrested, the rest were feard to come out thinking they were also going to be arrested.
The sources said that the security personnel of the AGA have also confirmed that the ‘illegal miners’, have sent a signal to the security detail at the entrance to the pit that they were afraid to come out of the pit for fear of being arrested.
They indicated that they had picked signals from the pit suggesting that they could lose their lives since they have become very feeble after consuming all their food and water being under the ground for the past two days.
"So we got one chance to talk to one of the trapped victims underground when he spoke to us confirming that they are about three hundreds people trapped in the mine."
However, the DCE, Mrs Faustina Ammisa has led the team to the officials at the Security Office of AGA to open the pit for the victim to come out.
