Jordan Ayew tests positive for coronavirus
The player did not take part in the Eagles game with Brighton Hove & Albion
Jordan Ayew has tested positive for coronavirus, the Ghanaian player has confirmed.
The 29-year old did not take part in Crystal Palace 1-1 draw with Brighton on Sunday at the Selhurst Park.
“Sadly, I have tested positive for Covid-19 & have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance,” the player wrote on Twitter.

“Thankfully, I am feeling fine & do not have any symptoms
“I will be cheering the boys on from home & look forward to being back on the pitch soon,” he added.

The player was with the Black Stars and partook in their friendly games against Mali and Qatar during the international break.
His compatriot Bernard Mensah has also tested positive for coronavirus after returning to his club side Besiktas following international duty.
Jordan was Crystal Palace player of last season and won the goal of the season award.
