"We Muslims are for peace and not violence, we need peace and must work on it to avoid any bad names, I will plead with fellow opinion leaders in our various Muslim communities to preach about peace wherever they get a platform," the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Basfam Enterprise has said.
Alhaji Musah noted that he feels worried whenever people try to attribute Muslim communities to violence, however, called on the Muslim communities to abstain from such impunities.
"Not everyone bearing a Muslim name worships Allah, some are Christians and even traditionalists, so I am appealing to Ghanaians to avoid seeing Muslims as violent makers", he reiterated.
However, the Muslim scholar emphasized that the NPP government must sit up and ensure the youth are employed to avoid hardships.
"I am pleading with the government to give job opportunities to our youth," he reiterated.
