Rev'd Akua Ofori-Boateng, Director of Programs for the Anglican Diocese of Accra, stated that government integrity begins with individuals.

Speaking at the Institute for Christian Impact's (ICI) Consultative Dialogue on the theme of "What Shall We Do?" Rev'd Ofori-Boateng stated at the Assemblies of God Church, Ghana, Headquarters at Accra in the Greater Accra region, "The challenge of integrity in governance and the responsibility of Christian citizens," that doing what is right and acceptable before God as a Christian mission must begin with the Christian citizen.

According to her, more than 70 percent of Christians do not prioritize what is proper and acceptable before God, which hurts society.

She went on to say that as Christians, we have a lot of obligations in Ghana in terms of maintaining government integrity.

She underlined the importance of providing adequate checks and balances for individuals in government to ensure that they are doing what is right and acceptable before God.

She went on to say that we have the moral authority to talk about integrity if we as Christians refuse to join and offer ourselves in the position of the government.
