Information reaching Soireenews indicates that a motorbike rider has allegedly been murdered at Akyem Abomosu in the Atewa West District of the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The information states that the deceased, Adu Joshua went missing on Tuesday evening, July 20, 2021, after a female passenger allegedly hired his services to an unknown destination.

A resident of Abomosu, who spoke on anonymity narrated, that the lifeless body of the motorbike rider was found on Thursday, July 22, 2021, in the nearby bushes at the outskirt of Abomosu, a farming community.

According to him, who spoke to SoireeNews Eastern regional correspondent, there was 'foam' coming out from his mouth with bruises and cuts on most parts of the body.

Adding that he suspects the assailants to have absconded with the deceased motorbike, but no arrest has so far been made by the police.

Many Motorbike riders have suffered similarly murdered incidents over the past 6 months and this calls for urgent monitoring measures to protect the Okada business in the country.
