10 Dead, many Injured in Gomoa Mampong accident
Two vehicles, a Boss bus with the Registration GN 4741-10 and a Diploma Bus with Registration no.GS 6262-19 were involved in the accident on the Mampong road.

Ten people have been confirmed dead while many are also injured after two buses collided at Gomoa Mampong on the Kasoa - Winneba Highway in the Central Region due to wrongful overtaking.
Information gathered indicates that a Boss bus with the Registration GN 4741-10 was transporting from Takoradi to Accra whiles a Diploma Bus with Registration no.GS 6262-19 heading towards Accra to Ivory Coast.
In an interview with one of the passengers who survived the accident, Emmanuel Quaicoo revealed that both drivers were engaged in overtaking and in the process collided at Mampong leading to many death on the spot whiles others are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the Winneba Municipal Fire Commander, D01 Henry Asiedu confirmed that 10 people have died; six men and four females.
Also, Winneba MTTD Commander, Asp Bertha Boguu has charged the drivers to desist or drive with care to avoid many accidents on Ghana's roads.
