Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Celestine Donkor has sarcastically advised Empress Gifty Adorye, wife of the politician Hopeson Adore.
In a recent interview she had on Adom FM with MikeTwo, the musician shared her opinion on using the huge budget to shoot a music video.
The current VGMA Gospel Artiste of the Year hit the nail right on the head and did not care who will bleed when the host asked how much they used in making the music videos.
According to the answer Celestine, she claimed that she would have used that amount of money to import rice and sell than shoot a music video with it.
Well, Celestine Donkor believes Empress Gifty’s decision to spend over $40k on a gospel music video was not wise.
She said, ‘’ In my honest opinion, the $40,000 music video is not doing better than low budget gospel music videos online– Empress should have used it for rice farming’’.
Empress has been noted as being a braggart ever since she got married to her husband. She mostly talks about how money is just an object to her and how she spends on anything without thinking twice about its cost.
Not long ago, Empress Gifty went on a television platform to disclose how she used over $40,000 to shoot her latest music video.
I guess she was looking for trends because she intentionally told the host to ask her how much she spent on her music video so she could brag.
