An aspiring Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency of the Western North Region, Mr Frank Nelson Ackah stated that if given the nod by the delegates in the party incoming internal constituency executives election, he would work hard with the supporters and members of the party to enhance the winning chances of the NDC in the 2024 general elections.

According to Mr. Ackah, who doubles as the Assembly Member for Asawinso A Electoral Area,he has served the NDC in the area in various capacities since in year 1996 and with "God on my side there is nothing that will stop me from doing better when given the nod by the delegates and members of the NDC."

He indicated his readiness and readiness to embark on a house to house campaign to encourage voters to join the party if given the nod to win the position of the secretary of the NDC in the area.

Against this political truck record, Mr. Ackah appealed to the delegates to vote massively for him to champion the cause of the growth and development in the area.

He maintained that his decision to contest for the position stemmed from calls by the youth in the constituency to lead them to bring more socio-economic transformation to the area since he had served the NDC in various capacities and excelled and was hopeful the delegates would give him the nod.

Mr Ackah stated that having being the youth advocate, the youth formed the bulk of voters and as an Assembly member and Youth Employment Coordinator in 2010 to 2015  in Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly, it would be easier to coordinate them under sustained activities devoid of any violence to ensure that the NDC take over parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MPP) in the area and increase the vote of the flag bearer of the NDC.

He noted that the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency Parliamentary seat has taken over by the NPP since 2004 election that political records, Mr Ackah vowed he would to break.

He indicated that he would put in place effective reorganisational structures and functions to bring floating on board to vote massively for the NDC to win the seat from the NPP in the 2024 polls.

He pointed that the incumbent MP of the area, Mr Alfred Obeng-Boateng has failed to deliver to the expectations of constitutes of bringing development to the electoral areas within the constituency.

He indicated that the incumbent MP has promised in his campaign to lobby for the development of the and as well as to create jobs for the teaming unemployed youths in Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai but he has failed to redeem his promised.

Failure by the MP to fulfill these campaign promises, according to Mr Ackah, has informed the decision of the youths to express their disappointment in their MP, vowing to vote for the NDC in the coming 2024 general.

In this regard, Mr Ackah was quick to state that the NDC in the area needs someone like him to win the position of the NDC Secretary in the area to steer the administrative affairs of the party to enable the descending youths and floating voters in the area to vote massively for the party to secure the seat for NDC in 2024.

According to him, the constituency since 2004 had been a stronghold for the NPP  and it was the time for the NDC to unite and take it from them for which "l believe that l have what it takes to help the party to win the seat.

"Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality was built and developed by NDC, but NPP has destroyed the good image of the constituency. And l hope that when l win the position of the NDC Secretary in the area l am going to ensure that we restore the NDC confident in the constituents," Mr Ackah assured.

Speaking in an interview with  Soireenews. com after he gone the vetting processes, Mr Ackah said if given the nod by the delegates, his aim was to repackage the party and come up with strategic measures that would make the party win the seat back in 2024.

He said he would be dedicated, determined, dependable fair, neutral, compassionate and a unifier in dealing with all members of the party on all party issues.

The President Ghana Association of assembly Members Western North Region explained that, his intention to contest was motivated by the constituents who were fed-up with the past trends and the NPP government in the constituency, "however the NDC needs someone like him who has vision and the party at heart to take the seat of the party's scribe in the area.

He in that regard urged the delegates of the NDC in the constituency to have trust in him NDC and try him to enable them to win the parliamentary seat in 2024 to achieve good projects and development in the area.

"I think I am more than capable of occupying the seat. I have demonstrated that I do have the capacity to advocate a lot of things for the NDC in the constituency. I belong to a strong party which is known as the diplomatic and development oriented party.

“I am also ready to serve and work with both the past and present executives in the party in both the constituency and the region so that we can snatch the parliamentary seat from NPP," he stressed.

He assured that if given the nod he would see to the development of the the effective database for all the Branches,  Constituency Executives and the Local Communities to increase "our votes in 2024.'

He pointed that the database would help to ensure that "All Branch Executives (who have access to Social Media or Not) need to know what goes on in the Constituency/Country."

Following this development, Mr. Ackah called on the delegates to vote massively for him to win the Constituency Secretary position in the party's constituency executives internal election slated for October.
