The New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ahafo Regional Women's Organizer, Madam Ruth Adwoa Fosua has said women in the country should be empowered to attain positions in government and other private organizations.

She stated yesterday, on international women's day that "as we celebrate international women's day, let's come together and support our women's by giving them chances in government, private institutions, and other platforms."

I used this women's day to thank all women for supporting the development of Ghana and President Nana Addo's Administration for the betterment of our country Ghana.

She advised that women should use their resources to support their children in school rather than using them to buy expensive clothes, cars, and other things which will not last for the future, justifying that if they spent everything they had on their children by God grace they were going to enjoy it later.

Madam Ruth Adwoa Fosua added that it is time men in the country s supported their wives to carry out their house duties.

She continued that all political parties in Ghana give chances to women in politics to hold some key positions in the party because "what men can do women can do it and even do it better."

She however eulogised President Nana Addo's government for the tremendous fight against the Covid-19 Pandemic in the country.
