Fameye has revealed that being labelled as ungrateful and arrogant by the media was one of the worst experiences of his life.

The Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste admitted how his confrontation with his former manager, Ogidi Brown, marred the beginning of his musical career.

According to him, while speaking to Nana Romeo on Accra100.5FM’s mid-morning show, ‘Ayekoo Ayekoo’, he explained that no one saw his side of the story and everyone just wanted to take the side of his manager even though he was at fault for most of the bust-up.

“One of my worst moments as a musician was when I was wrongly tagged as arrogant and ungrateful because the insults from social media and other channels were too much for me,”

The feud between Fameye and his former manager was so big that Ogid Brown had threatened to settle the matter in a shrine.

Ogidi Brown claimed that Femeye owes him $50,000 because of the exit clause in his label deal but the artiste did not make any attempts to pay.

Naturally, the media took Ogidi Brown's side, even urging Femeye to make an apology song to his former boss.

Fameye further explained the inspiration behind his recent streak of motivational tracks.

The 'Praise' crooner, who is currently promoting his new single, stated that he sings the things that he wished for himself.

“It's nothing new from how I do my songs… It contains things that I wish for myself.

“In fact, 90 per cent of the things I said in the song has to do with me so I relate to the things I said in the song”.

Ogidi Brown has moved on after the feud with his former signee.

The OGB Records CEO signed Afro-pop artiste Cryme Officer with eggs and schnapps after parting ways with Fameye in 2019.
