Ghanaian gospel singer, Patience Nyarko has reasoned that Joe Mettle must be enjoying all the recent buzz that her remarks about him have created after choosing to stay shut on her recent comments.

The talented songstress stressed that she feels Joe Mettle has no problem with her statements that have sparked controversies in the gospel music realm in Ghana.

She maintained her stance on the words that she spoke, adding that she only spoke the truth in the situation hence she feels no need to reach out and apologize to her colleague.

“I don’t see it as important to reach out to him. If he is not happy about my comments, he would have reacted to it. I think Joe Mettle is enjoying what is going on between us.”  While speaking in an interview on Happy 98.9FM’s ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ with DJ Advicer.

Patience Nyarko made known that there are people in the industry that agree with her, going further to say that people are aware she has no personal problem with Joe Mettle admitting that the only thing she did wrong was her frustration which led to her angry statement and that her tone might have been a bit overboard.

"Some people understand my comments and stand with me. I was a bit angered by the statement Joe’s team member had made. But I still stand by my statement because it is the truth.”

It would be recalled that Patience Nyarko accused Joe Mettle of singing only songs from the Church of Pentecost and Methodist. She went on to add that he would be left with nothing to his name if the churches asked him not to sing their songs again.

“I don’t want people to think Joe Mettle is the only Gospel artiste in Ghana. He is being overly hyped and I want people to know that he is not there yet. Sincerely, they are giving the guy a problem.” She said.

She has now backed her own claims by revealing that she has the support of other gospel musicians in the industry.
