I Was Born HIV Positive, Got Pregnant At 14, And I Have Slept With Many Men

Regina Jane has narrated a sorrowful story of how she was born HIV positive, raised by a single mother who passed when she was only 8 years old and how she infected men with HIV in exchange for money to feed her children.

While living with her grandparents while she was in second grade, Regina was brought to the hospital due to an illness. Her grandparents learned she was HIV positive after a series of tests. She was prescribed several medicines that she had to take regularly and allegedly refused to explain to Regina why she was required to take so many drugs even when she was not experiencing any discomfort. Towards the end of her 13th birthday, she approached her doctor and inquired as to why she was being given so many medicines each month. The doctor revealed to her that she had HIV and that she would need to take medicine every day.

Regina was in a relationship and she became pregnant, and the man encouraged her to have an abortion because he feared being imprisoned for impregnating a minor.

She claims that she went away and gave birth to a girl after nine months and that since she couldn't afford to purchase food, she borrowed food from a particular man who urged her to start selling her body for money because she couldn't afford to buy food.

It was because she wouldn't use protection after informing some guys about her status that she joined a group of women who stood on the street, and that's how she sadly became pregnant again. She said some men wouldn't like to do it with protection; they prefer raw and skin-to-skin contact. That was how she started infecting men with HIV daily.

She asserted that she gave birth and her child was not able to walk but she came across a pastor who prayed for her sick daughter and she started walking again. She says she resorted to church because she couldn't afford to take her sick baby to the hospital, so she opted to take her to the church.

Regina claims she is now a happy mother of two children, and she has started creating songs to help others who are going through difficult times.
