Shatta Wale, the king of African dancehall, has revealed yet another incident involving his dispute with the Hogbetsotso Festival's organizers.

Before this uproar, Shatta Wale had stated during an interview with Captain Smart on ONUA TV that he had received full payment for his performance.

However, he was not to be discovered on D-day, and this sparked a huge social media controversy.

In a live Facebook session, Shatta Wale explained his absence, claiming that the organizers intended to bring him directly to a radio station for an interview as soon as he arrived, a plan he had already agreed to reject.

Shatta Wale further claimed that although the organizers initially requested $200,000 (GH? 2.8 million) from him, they could only afford GH. 200,000.

Because he considers Bola Ray to be his godfather in the entertainment world, he consented to accept the meager Ghc 200,000.

The show's organizers have yet to publicly address their bad encounter with Shatta Wale.
