Following his impersonation of President Akufo-Addo on Twitter, Ghanaian rapper Medikal got his account suspended.

By making noticeable alterations to his account, the "Omo Ada" hitmaker violated the new Twitter guideline prohibiting impersonation and the operation of parody accounts.

Medikal renamed himself "Mr. President" and used the President's photo as his platform profile picture.

His account was suspended as soon as he was reported by some users on Twitter.

Even though the platform has taken significant action to combat impersonation and the misrepresentation of persons and brands by others, Medikal was nevertheless made the scapegoat by the platform.
