I Cannot rule this community without you - Queen of Samuni tells Khalifa.

Samuni is a community in the East Mamprusi District of the North East region. Traditionally, it is women that rule the community.

The Queen, Paa Poanaa Hajia Aisha requested the presence of Khalifa Sheikh Ahmed Abulfaid Maikano Jallo, who is National President of Tijjaniya Muslim of Ghana in her community to pray for her and her people.

Paa Poanaa addressing a gathering said she has entrusted her community into the hands of Khalifa. Stressing that “I cannot handle this community and its people without your prayer and support".

She used the opportunity to appeal to the authority for a good road network, health center, and a community Senior High school to help improve education in the area.

“My people, especially the youth have all migrated to the south due to lack of development in the area. Our main work here is farming and we need a good farming season” she added.

Hajia Aisha made a special prayer request for her son Alhaji Baba Seidu Issifu, Member of Parliament for Nalerigu Gambaga constituency to help him bring development to the Constituency.
