The incumbent Central Regional 2nd Vice Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), who is currently seeking re-election, Mr. Kingsley Kofi Karikari-Bondzie, has called on members and supporters of the NPP in the region to embrace unity, oneness, and peace which would be the only viable weapon for the party to retain the power in the 2024 general elections.

The incumbent Central Regional 2nd Vice Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), who is currently seeking re-election, Mr. Kingsley Kofi Karikari-Bondzie, has called on members and supporters of the NPP in the region to embrace unity, oneness, and peace which would be the only viable weapon for the party to retain the power in the 2024 general elections.

He stressed the need for all aspirants in the party to see the election of executives as an internal issue and not a fight between themselves, "we should have the sensibility of each other at heart, we are only offering to serve and nothing more."

He admonished all aspirants to desist from politics of insults and urged delegates to advocate and vote for candidates who can regain power.

Mr. Karikari-Bondzie said he was still in the race for the 2nd Vice-chairman to win and lead with a unified front and urged the delegates to vote massively for him to retain his current position, adding that he would reintroduce strategies to ensure that the NPP was voted to retain power in the 20224 general elections.

Outlining four thematic areas of his 2022 campaign, Mr. Karikari-Bondzie stated “the NPP in the central region must rise together from ten (10) to nineteen (19), adding that "Rising together means embracing unity, a united front is a cohesive bond needed for breaking the Eight (8) agenda of the NPP.

He assured us that he would; continue to build relationships with the grassroots, (Grassroot matter, you Matter) a focus on; taking care of our own(footsoldiers database), churches, traders, farmers, professionals, and The role of Research & data, mobilizing campaign resources ( people & money) and; resources Resourcetion strategy (last 7 days to campaign).

He promised to continue to resource party persons with logistics promptly to be able to carry out their mandates and also plan effectively for party work.

Articulating on his previous achievements and contributions to the party in the region, Mr. Karikari-Bondzie noted that before the 2020 general elections, he took to the distribution of 2,600 branded Tshirts for 12 constituencies, donated 20 sewing machines to 3 constituencies (AAK, CCN, EKUMFI), sponsored medical outreach programs in 10 communities across Ekumfi, Ajumako Enyan Essiam, Mfantsiman & AAK at a total cost of GH¢65,000, sponsored community information centers in 13 constituencies each cost GH¢5,600 (2 in each of these 12).

He added that he made other contributions to the party in the way as buying 50 Bags of Cement to support the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Campaign, chaired the committee that drew up logistics for elections 2020( the most resourced since 1992-Rainforest Committee), and performed instrumental roles in the recruitment of some constituency officers and footsoldiers into CODA, distributed 15,000 car campaign stickers to all 23 constituencies, arranged for 20 party executives to benefit from “Hire Purchase Taxis” across the central region at a lower cost.

He mentioned that he ensured the provision of financial resources to support some constituency Executives to pay Admission & other educational support, and supported the NPP regional executives with disciplinary Issues using his experience acquired to assist a lot of youths from going on suspension.

He maintained that he was hugely involved in the establishment of Ekumfi Fruit Juices & Central Citrus Processing factory as well as the Pan-African Village Project that would open up the central region for development & Employment and donated campaign logistics to support the following Constituencies ( Wellington boots/ Headpans/cutlasses)-KEEA ( Headpans)-AOB (cement)-AAK ( 2 motorbikes, Headpans/ Cutlasses/sewing machines/spraying guns)
-Ajumako Enyan Essiam ( medical supplies /cutlasses/nose masks)-Ekumfi (sewing machines)-Cape Coast North (sewing machines).

"I have supported campaign logistics to 12 vulnerable constituencies," he disclosed.
