Healthcare Should Be The Most Priority Of The Government -  MP.

As part of improving health care,the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tain Constituency of the Bono Region, Honourable. Adama Sulemana, known as Hon. Ramzy Adams, has donated two motor bikes to the Community Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound at Njau and Teadene in the Tain District.

The move, according to the MP is aimed at assisting Health personnels in Njau to deliver quality health care to residents within and outside Njau and Teadene.

“Whenever I visit my constituents, especially in the health facilities, I see many challenges which I always wish to help curb them Therefore, the motorbikes donated to thee two communities will hopefully help to ensure the smooth running of the health Centre,” he said.

He however pleaded with the government to assist Health status ones it is essential in the country. 

The MP suggest government use 15% of the GDP to help the betterments of health issues in the country. Currently government use around 7 or 8%, but my determination is to make sure that we have access to good healthcare in the constituency he added.

He proceeded that as member of Parliament, it is his responsibility to help achieve the dreams of helping his constituents, hence the visitations to the communities and stakeholders to know more of their challenges and help solve them.

Meanwhile the District health director for Tain, Mr. Kennedy Ohene-Adjei applauded the MP’s move, adding that the bikes came at a needed time, and urged on behalf of the workers to make good use of them.

Adding to the acknowledgements to the MP, the Chief of Njau and also the Kyidomhene of Nsawkaw Traditional Council, Nana Anokwane Sarpong Kumankoma thanked Hon. Ramzy on his kindest support to his commuters.


The residents are grateful for the member parliament's kind gesture but pleaded for general assistance.
