Akwasi Boateng has asked Ghanaians to stop tagging just any female slay queen as actresses.

The entertainment pundit said this in reference to Hajia Bintu, a social media content creator known for uploading pictures and short videos of herself on TikTok.

He stressed that a young lady cannot be classified as an actress just because she is able to make a few numbers on social media with her content.

Akwasi stated that she should rather be referred to as a photo model or a social media sensation.

He said this while speaking in an interview with NYDJ on Y102.5FM’s ‘Ryse N Shyne’ radio show.

“The content she has now can grow her brand as a photo model and not as an actress. She has content but her content is for being a photo model."

"Every content has a particular career that it pursues. She puts out pictures and people like them. She could even get brand endorsements from that but that doesn’t make her an actress”, he said.

He concluded per this analysis that content is the first thing to look at in selling oneself as a creative person.

Once there is material that the public is willing to consume, then the person can get a certain mileage.

Hajia Bintu has been the subject of much criticism over the past few years from entertainment pundits, was recently picked on by Archipalago, who openly stated that she is not as beautiful in real life as she claims to be online.
