Titleholders, Chelsea will face Juventus in Group H whilst Group B contains three former winners.

Group B has been tagged as the Group of death following the Champions League draw on Thursday evening from Istanbul.

Liverpool (ENG), Atletico Madrid (ESP), FC Porto (POR), and AC Milan (ITA) were drawn in Group B ahead of the tournament which commences next month. 

Despite tough fixtures between Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain in Group A, Barcelona versus Bayern Munich in Group E, defending Champions, Chelsea against Juventus in Group H, Group B still; remains exceptional and four teams are capable of beating each other to qualify although Liverpool remains favorite ahead of Atletico and last season’s quarter-finalists, FC Porto.

Predictions have it that Manchester City and PSG will are favorites to make it out in Group A, Ajax and Dortmund for Group C, Real MADRID and Inter are likely to draw out in Group D, Bayern and Barca from Group E, Manchester United and Villarreal, Chelsea and Juventus from Group F and H respectively.

Liverpool and AC Milan have only met on two previous occasions in European competition, with both of them coming in the final of the UEFA Champions League (winning in 2005 and losing in 2007), Opta reveals.

The Reds Across all European competitions have faced FC Porto more, that is eight occasions without ever losing than any other side and have only won one of their six meetings with Atlético Madrid in European competition (D2 L3), while the Spanish side eliminated them from the UEFA Champions League in 2019-20.
