Former Liverpool and Osasuna striker Michael Robinson has died aged 61 after a long battle with cancer.
After spending his final playing days in LaLiga Santander, Robinson became a beloved pundit and commentator in Spain.
For most young people in Spain, Robinson is that nice Englishman that analyses the biggest games in LaLiga Santander and the Champions League on Movistar.

Robinson began commentating on Premier League games on TVE in 1989 before being signed up by Canal Plus to present El Dia Despues, among other things.
During his playing career, Robinson spent time at Preston, Manchester City and Brighton before winning the treble of First Division, FA Cup and European Cup with Liverpool in 1984.
After that, he moved on to play for Queens Park Rangers before signing for Osasuna in 1987 and saving them from relegation that season.
