Government Urged To Speed Up Appiatse Reconstruction Site-NADMO.

Some of the victims speaking to Soireenews at the camp questioned government as to when the work would commenced at the Appiatse community.

The Prestea Huni Valley Deputy NADMO Coordinator in the Western Region, Mr. Luis Afful has said the situation at the Appiatse relief camp is quite good since there are enough stocks for the victims of the Appiatse explosion alief camp but the living conditions at the camp are not conducive for children and pregnant women.

He reiterated the need for the government to speed up the reconstruction of the appiatse community to ease the suffering of the victims.

He said that because of the heat in the tent, the committee has decided to put a temporary wooden structure to relocate some of the people from the temporal tent.

He expressed the hardship they are going through in the camp currently but plead with the government to start the project since they are struggling a lot at the camp but the food is not a problem for them.
