A Private Legal Practitioner, Eric Oduro Sae has stated that most Ghanaians enter into the activities of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI), as a result of poverty.

Speaking on Ark FM Morning show monitored by Soiree News reporter, Nana Ama Asiedu, the lawyer stated that people who find life difficult due to poverty are mostly targeted by the LGBTQI community.

According to him, these victims regret at some point in times after engaging themselves in the activity but find it difficult to go back to their normal life.

The issue of legalizing LGBTQI in Ghana has sparked some controversies among the general public with majority condemning the activities of these group which seeks to establish an office here in Ghana.

Lawyer Eric Oduro Sae believes that the activities of gay and lesbian must be treated as a disease just like in other countries.

He added that the laws of Ghana must be tested at all times so that the citizens will know what the constitution says about activities perceived to be wrong such as gaysm and lesbianism.
