Gospel shows ought to be free of charge since God is priceless -Rev. Abraham Lamptey

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the esteemed man of God stated that since God is priceless, these platforms shouldn't be used as a means of profiting from his yearly event, Art of Worship.

"The artist listed on the program is irrelevant. Paying to attend an event is inappropriate, regardless of if it features an A-list gospel artist.

Although I have no issue with others charging admission, I believe that if the purpose of the event is to encounter God for all that He has done for us, then entrance should be free.

As I mentioned, if the purpose of the event is to encounter God, money cannot be accepted. God is too precious for me to quantify. Asking customers to pay will be improper as a result. He remarked, "I have practiced my art of worship for sixteen years, and it is always free.

The remarks made by Rev. Lamptey will undoubtedly cause a stir in the community, especially considering that gospel musicians have been bemoaning the lack of support for their performances.
