I can never be NPP-Mzbel declares

Ghanaian musician, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel has categorically stated that nothing can influence her to defect from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to any other political party.

The Female Hiplife artist indicated that she is a staunch NDC supporter and cannot be a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) even if the NDC breaks her heart.

This is because of the late former president Jerry John Rawlings “I have been NDC all my life, NDC is all I know.

"If you come to Jamestown where I grew up, all of them are NDC supporters so no matter what the NDC will do I will remain loyal to the party. I am 100% NDC, I can’t be NPP even if they break my heart” Mzbel stated during her appearance on the United Showbiz Show.

Mzbel didn’t disclose what Rawlings did for her families but said her families and the people of Jamestown, a suburb of Accra support the NDC because of the late Rawlings.

According to her, though she doesn’t hold any position in the party, she has dedicated her life to the largest opposition party.

The controversial musician openly declared her support for former president John Mahama and the NDC during the 2016 general elections, which was won by the NPP.

I believe the former  Late President Jerry John Rawlings didn't need to be good to the family or person before he or she becomes fond of him(JJ Rawlings).
