Delegates from MUSIGA who accepted my money but did not support me will live in poverty, according to Ras Caleb

The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) elected Bessa Simons as president today, defeating popular reggae artist Ras Caleb in the race for the position.

Ras Caleb, though, is not giving up easily. He "cursed" individuals who took money from him on the condition that they would support him for the position of MUSIGA president in the future but did not do so.

Ras Caleb asserts that he traveled throughout all of Ghana and saw firsthand how things were mismanaged. As a result, the members gave him their support as the union's next president, promising to improve the situation.

"The members who took my money but didn't support me ought to stay in poverty. I already have a lot going on, and I'd rather to keep doing them than waste time with the MUSIGA administration, he declared.

Ras Caleb explained to Graphic Showbiz that the newly elected MUSIGA administration is corrupt and without vision, thus he cannot cooperate with them.

"I don't want to be a member of this cartel, which dates back to Diana Hopeson and Obour. I had some fantastic ideas for MUSIGA, but I can tell that the members are resistant to change.I had a well-thought-out plan to elevate MUSIGA, but as it stands right now, I'm keeping it," he stated.

Ras Appiah Levi received 66 votes in the MUSIGA elections, which were held today throughout Ghana's provinces, while Bessa Simons received 324 after the ballots were counted.
