God Deserves Thanksgiving Always -Apostle Emmanuel Agyeman Bekoe

The Mission Director of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Agyeman Bekoe, has stated that the Lord deserves to be celebrated for what He has done and who He is.

He explained that celebrating God for His greatness was very vital, especially in the light of His mighty works.

He made the remarks on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the annual thanksgiving service of Jospong Group of Companies (JGC) and Zoomlion Ghana Limited (ZGL) at the group's head office in Ashley Botwe-Nmai-Dzorn in Accra.

Addressing the gathering of staff members, heads of departments of JGC and ZGL, and men of God from the Church of Pentecost and other churches, Apostle Agyeman Bekoe underscored the importance of celebrating the Lord.

According to him, the Lord God ought to be worshipped for all His deeds amid humanity and also offer thanksgiving for His person.

He further intoned that offering thanksgiving to God means sounding trumpets and other musical instruments. While in the Old Testament, thanking the Lord means singing and marching to the glory of the Lord, praying and singing are characteristics of the New Testament era.

The thanksgiving celebrations were interspersed with altar calls as the group believes that thanksgiving will not be complete without souls being converted to Christ.

Given that, the gathering moved into the streets from the company's premises to the School Junction within the enclave evangelizing to as many as to repose confidence that Christ still cares in these trying times.

Speaking to the media about the essence of the outreach, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of JGC, Mrs. Sophia Kudjordji, said the outreach was meant to remind others that all hope is not lost yet.

She said the only way to be joyful in life was to surrender one's life to Christ among other things. Gospel Musician, Akesse Brempong, who was the guest artiste, graced the celebration with his melodic ministrations as well as the Present King Choir.

There were amazing displays from various departments within the Jospong Group and Zoomlion.
