According to the official, one of the patients was in a coma and had a bullet lodged in his chest.

The MyJoyonline website quotes John Bremini as saying, "We have roughly nine people who have sustained various injuries; some have been sent to the theatre to be operated on."

The website also posted a video of the police station's damaged vehicles shortly after the attack.

The situation has been brought under control, according to police, and two people have been apprehended in connection with the commotion.
