The Upper East Regional Minister, Honourable Stephen Yakubu has inaugurated a four-member team to audit all landed properties of the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) within the Bolgatanga Municipality.

Members of the team include; Madam Samiatu Osman, Estates Officer, Mr. Omane Addo of the Public Works Department (PWD), Mr. Solomon Kambey, Internal Audit, and Alhaji Ibrahim Habila, an Administrative Officer at the Regional Coordinating Council.

Honorable Yakubu who briefly inaugurated the team, tasked them to conduct a physical headcount of all structures of the Coordinating council and document the names of all occupants, their occupation, mode of payment, and ensure all payments were up to date.

The four-member team was given four weeks to submit their findings to the Office of the Regional Minister.

The RCC properties in the Municipality are the Kumbosco, Zuarungu, and Tanzui Low-Cost Bungalows, and Low-Cost Bungalows along the Navrongo and Tamale stretch of road.

The rest are the Hospital and the Soe area Bungalows, and those along with the Residency Road, Low-Cost Houses, Flats, and Catering Rest House at Buker.

The Minister appealed to all occupants to cooperate with the team to achieve their mandate.
