Ghana needs to refine her own crude oil - Afful Manu (Nsawkaw-dehyeɛ) to government.

Mr. Afful Manu Benjamin (Nsawkaw-dehye), the owner of Star of Africa Montessori Academy and a businessman, has calculated that petroleum goods will be less expensive if the nation refines its own crude oil.

Mr. Afful's call for the government to build a refinery to process crude oil in Ghana will help to slow the country's fuel price increase.

The entrepreneur said during an interview with Appiah Kubi on Tain FM Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), according to Anopa Nkomo currently has a contract to engage in third-party refining, which he claimed prevents the refinery from making a full profit from its operations.

TOR would offer cheaper petroleum products to Ghanaians when it can refine its crude oil at full capacity, he continued, and he urged the refinery's government not to lose heart in the face of potential difficulties but rather to keep cooperating with knowledgeable people in the nation.

He urged the government to do everything in its power to curb the TOR's vested interests and avarice.
