Expects, among others have predicted that Ghana is on the verge of recording a Coup d'etat if measures are not put in place.

But, Honorable. Francis Addai Nimo, the former member of Parliament for the Mampong constituency and 2014 Npp Flag-bearer aspirant has stated that the country is advanced past recording a military coup.

"I keep hearing people predicting a coup but none of them has made it clear whether is it a military coup or a democratic one", he asks.

Adding that, the democratic coup is possibly occurring in the country but for a military coup, it's a big No.

He made these known to Soireenews in Obuasi when a banking firm donated two Toyota Hilux vehicles to the divisional police command.

The former member of Parliament and the presidential aspirant is optimistic that Ghana will never record a coup de tat despite aggressive comments by some persons in the country.

Meanwhile, the deputy Ashanti Regional police commander, DCOP Kwasi Akomea Apraku, receiving the vehicles on behalf of the police expressed gratitude to Accurate Giants company Limited for such a kind gesture.

He disclosed that the police are on top of crime-related issues in the Ashanti region, nonetheless, residents' assistance is needed to combat crime in the country.

"We have battled with some robbers but it resulted in the loss of their lives, we are cautioning all perpetrators to desist from their actions or we face them boot for boot", The deputy regional commander stressed.

However, the executive chairman and founder of Accurate Giants company Limited, Alex Koffie Hanson urged the government to reduce monies spent on ministers and rather invest in the security agencies in the country to ease crime.

The founder, Mr. Alex promised to add additional vehicles to the police command in the coming months to ease crime within the Obuasi Municipality.
