Starboy Kwarteng has accused the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) of embezzling the royalties that belong to his late daughter and family.

According to the father of the late artist, he has not received the due royalties from GHAMRO on his daughter's behalf since she died.

He stated that Bullet, Ebony Reigns former manager before her passing, should have collected the royalties, but he is not interested because he considers the royalties peanuts in the grand scheme of things.

Taking up the responsibility thus fell to himself, the father, but he has not been able to get any money from GHAMRO.

“I have never had even a dime from GHAMRO and I don’t know why. I spoke to Bullet several times. It was Bullet who managed her as you are aware. I went to GHAMRO sometime past to request for the royalties. But there was no solid conclusion."

"Bullet himself told me that the money was peanuts so he does not check. And I said ‘No! Bullet you are a big guy but I am not a big guy. If it is peanuts, as a father I don’t see it as such’. But as I speak with you I haven’t had a dime from GHAMBRO”, he told DJ Adviser on Happy FM’s ‘Ayeeko After Drive’ show.

He further defended himself by claiming that he has not failed in managing the record label that his daughter left him to manage.

"I had an issue with my first signee Kimore but I am going to sort them out. I travelled and after a while, we stopped communicating for reasons best known to her. But now that I am back, I intend to put things in place, get to know why we stopped communicating and move on. But for failure, I know I haven’t failed”.

“And I also want to help other upcoming artistes grow in the industry”.

“It’s unfortunate that things didn’t go as expected with my first signee. But I still don’t see that as a failure in any case. I am still doing my best and you mark my words, this record label is here to stay”.

Starboy Kwarteng disclosed, he is currently working with a new signee who means business. “He means business and I know you will love everything he does”, he concluded
