renowned media figure According to Deloris Frimpong Manso, sometimes known as Delay, the regular use of the regional dialect Twi has raised the status of the language in the nation.

Delay claims that when she first entered the media industry a few years ago, she discovered that there weren't many media outlets using the regional dialect.

She admitted that despite receiving harsh criticism at the time for using Twi on the radio, it still bothered her.

Delay revealed that when she launched her show in the regional dialect on radio some years ago, she was labeled as a "villager and odd" in an interview with Kumasi-based Pure FM's "Bar4Bar," hosted by Kojo Sebor.

"Of course, of course, I will openly proclaim that I have elevated the use of the Twi language on the airwaves.

Years ago, when I first appeared on television, some people labeled me as an ignorant villager because I spoke Twi.

According to Delay, Maame Dokono and some older people preferred the Twi language at the time, whilst the younger generation preferred the English language.

Delay claimed that she appeared to be the only strange person among the chickens due to the language she spoke on the radio at the time.

I was the odd one out among English speakers like Wolf, Caroline Simpson, Jeremy, Doreen Andoh, and other well-known figures.

But in the modern era, commercial entities like Coca-Cola, Vodafone, and Ideal Milk all support some catchy Twi slogans. Twi has taken the place of Flex, She declared.

She continued, "I think it's the right course of action because Germans don't speak English and Italians don't say Turkish. Therefore, we must be content with what we have and proud of it.
