After Hilda Baci replaced her, Indian chef Lata Tondon, broke a world record.

Hilda was officially recognized by Guinness World Records on Tuesday as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, but they reduced her original time of 100 hours to 93 hours and 11 minutes, citing the fact that "she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her breaks early on in the attempt."

The previous record holder Tondon responded via her Instagram account on Thursday, saying she was thrilled for Hilda Baci and Nigerians.

I wish Hilda the best of luck, and I'm extremely delighted for you all!" Tondon established her record in 2019 by continuously cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes.
