Floyd Mayweather’s daughter Iyanna Mayweather was reportedly arrested this weekend for allegedly stabbing the baby mother of rapper NBA Youngboy.

The 19-year-old, whom former boxer Floyd shares with Melissa Brim, was taken into police custody in the early hours of Saturday morning (4 April) for felony aggravated assault.
According to TMZ, Iyanna was being held at the Harris County Jail in Houston.
Police sources told the publication that NBA Youngboy was at home with Lapattra Lashai Jacobs when Iyanna arrived at the house.
Jacobs reportedly told Iyanna, also known as Yaya, that she was NBA Youngboy’s fiance and that Iyanna should leave.
However, an argument ensued and moved into the kitchen where Iyanna allegedly had two knives. When Jacobs reportedly stepped towards Iyanna, Floyd’s daughter charged at her with one of the knives.

Jacobs is said to have told the police that she didn’t feel the first knife wound but then Iyanna allegedly charged at her with the second knife, stabbing her again.

It’s been a difficult few weeks for Floyd, whose uncle and former trainer Roger Mayweather died earlier in March at the age of 58.
Days before, Floyd’s former girlfriend Josie Harris was found dead inside a car outside her home. They shared three children together – Koraun, 20, Zion Shamaree, 18, and Jirah, 15 – while Iyanna is from his relationship with Melissa.
