Fire Destroyed 7-Bedroom Compound House at Nyame-Bekyere, Gh¢65,000.00 Cash Burnt to Ashes.
According to the residents, they suddenly heard an explosion from one of the rooms followed by the inferno. All attempts by residents to douse it proved futile.

A (7) seven-bedroom house has been razed down by fire at Nyame-Bekyere Camp in the Assin South District of the Central Region.
The unfortunate incident occurred on the night of Thursday, January 26th 2023 while the occupants were all outside their rooms enjoying the night air breeze due to the heat of the night.
According to the residents, they suddenly heard an explosion from one of the rooms followed by the inferno. All attempts by residents to douse it proved futile.
However, several properties belonging to tenants were destroyed by the fire, including GHC¢65,000.00 which belongs to the landlord of the house Elder Larbi who is a Cocoa Purchasing Clerk.
Friends and neighbours had to provide shelter for those who had lost their neighbours.
Meanwhile, the Assin Fosu Fire Officer DOIII Paul Tawiah said though they are yet to unravel the cause of the fire, they advised the residents to deal with fire cautiously, especially in this harmattan season.
