Fear Grips Twifo Hemang Residents

Residents of Twifo Hemang in the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyera District of the Central Region are gripped with fear following the heightening chieftaincy dispute in the community.

Although police presence in the community has increased in the last 24 hours, however, residents of the community believe that more security personnel are needed to permanently restore calm in the community.

The clash between two families which has destroyed many valuable properties comes after a chieftaincy ruling by the central regional house of chiefs.

Most of the residents have run away from their residences in the community to seek asylum in bushes.

This online news portal spoke with one of the affected innocent residents whose identity has been withheld for security reasons.
