Evangelist apologizes to her followers for having a child before marriage

Patience Otene, a renowned Nigerian Facebook evangelist, has apologized to her followers for having an unmarried kid. 

Evangelist Otene took to social media to tell that she had a kid a month ago.

Despite lecturing on the importance of virginity, she expressed regret for not being able to lead by example, advising her followers not to be discouraged.

I HAVE A CHILD. My baby is a month old today, yes you read it correctly. Is it true that I am now married? NO.

Is GOD pleased with what I've done? NO, (God's message on this is unmistakable and cannot be changed)

Is this something that the Bible condones? Certainly not. Would I urge someone else to do what I did? Certainly not. No way did I intend for it to turn out this way.

I've been through some of the most trying moments in the last several months, and I can assure you that being in GOD'S will is the greatest option.

I apologize to anyone who will be discouraged by the fact that I am someone who posts godly stuff about what one should and should not do.

Please do not lose trust in GOD because of me or what has transpired; rather, let your faith in GOD be increased because GOD'S way is the only and greatest way to do things.

While I am currently dealing with my spiritual life, I beg that you pray for me in this season because it is all I need. Thank you very much.
