Confusion in NPP  over the sale of nomination forms

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in New Duaben North in the Eastern Region of Ghana has been confused following the opening of nomination for constituency and polling station elections.

The confusion comes at the back of the party executives’ inability to open the party office on time.
At about 10:00 am, at the. Time of filing this report,  the constituency executives of the NPP in the new Juaben North have refused to open the constituency office for interested persons to pick their nomination forms to represent the party in their respective electoral areas.

The visibly agitated party faithful described the act as unfair being perpetuated by the current executives.

Meanwhile, an attempt to get any of the constituency executives to find out reasons for the delay of forms has since been proven futile.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has opened nominations for the election of polling station executives from today February 19 to 21, 2022.

The party in a memo signed by the Director of Research and Elections, Evans Nimako dated February 14, 2022, stated, “ I have been directed by the General Secretary to inform you that pursuance to the directives given by the National Council towards the conduct of Polling Station and Area Coordinators, elections, across the country”.
