Bono: Some NPP Executives to petition NEC over Abronye’s character

 
Some executives of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bono Region  have begun processes to petition the party's National Executives Committee (NEC) over what they describe as abusive and disrespectful conduct of their Regional Chairman Kwame Barfoe

This seems like What appears to be constant verbal attacks on traditional rulers and other dignitaries by Abronye is gradually attracting anger among party Executives.
According to our source in the party, even though they have been for so long, the behavior of the Regional Chair popular known as Abronye is much worry to them.
“He is destroying the party in the region. Abronye has insulted every leader including Dormaahene whom we all have respect for despite our differences. We won’t allow him to destroy the party for us. We are going to petition NEC”, the source revealed.
“If you misbehave like this as a Regional Chairman against Osagyefo Agayemang Badu II, your own Regional House of Chiefs President using Otumfour to chastise him, do you think politically you are helping your party?”.
According to the NPP Executive member, Abronye has insulted almost all the chiefs and highly respected personalities in the Region which he believes contributed to the result in the Parliamentary elections in the last general elections. 
They, therefore, believe it is of great importance for NEC to look into his conduct going forward for the 2024 elections.
‘He called Banda Ahenkro Chief a murderer. He alleged Sunyanihene has stolen government land. He also alleged the Regional Chief Immam is corrupt and claimed the Imam went to the Regional Coordinating Council during the NDC era and took 50,000ghc to buy Fanta and Coke’.
“As Regional Chairman, how then do you lead your flag-bearer to these people you have insulted come to any general elections?”, he questioned.
He however stated that plans are underway to ensure NEC calls him to order before his actions affect the party’s vision of breaking the 8.
