Vardy doubled the lead in the 74-minute through a penalty. The Foxes forward was fouled in the box by Barnes before referee Anthony Taylor pointed to the spot.

The visitors changed their formation shape from a back four to five but that did not affect their game play, denying not Jamie Vardy his second on the afternoon from the spot after James Justin was caught inside the box by O'Shea.
