Drug peddler sentenced to 19 years imprisonment at Assin Fosu

Quantities of weed, cocaine, matches and a pair of Scissors were retrieved from Kofi Barima Korankye by the Police during arrest at Assin Fosu.

 Kofi Barima Korankye, a 23-year-old drug dealer at  Assin Fosu in the  Central Region has been sentenced to 19 years in jail with hard labour.

Per the account, Kofi Barima Korankye is one of the notorious drug peddler in the area whose activities is negatively impacting youth in the locality.

 Police intelligence and surveillance marshalled overpowered him as he tried to outwit them. Quantities of weed, cocaine, matches and a pair of Scissors were retrieved.

The convict had earlier chased his 72-year-old father, Daniel Korankye with a gun and other offensive weapon threaten to kill him for taking into hiding his drugs.  

He was arraigned before Cape Coast High Court One, presided over by Her Ladyship Dorinda Smith Arthur. The convict was jailed for 14 years for dealing drugs and 5 years for the threat of death. 

The investigation done by Central Regional Soireenews correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful also revealed that the convict seriously engages in bestiality.
