Dormaa West DCE, Bono  Regional Roads & Highways  Director Inspect Road  Projects Awarded

The Dormaa West District Chief Executive (DCE) in the Bono Region Dormaa West District, Mr. Francis Kwadwo Oppong, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, embarked on an inspection tour of road projects awarded in the district.

The Dormaa West District Chief Executive (DCE) in the Bono Region Dormaa West District, Mr. Francis Kwadwo Oppong, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, embarked on an inspection tour of road projects awarded in the district.

These projects are Diabaakrom to Ahenfiekrom, Nkrankwanta Kaase Road, and Nkrankwanta township roads.

The DCE is accompanied by the Dormaa West District Assembly Engineer, Mr. Ofori Boateng Kwand the Coordinating Director, Mr. Iddrisu Mahama, and the Bono Regional Roads and Highways Director, Mr. Harold Atobra-Acheampong to inspect the ongoing road projects in above following areas to ascertain the progress of the work.

Addressing the journalists after the inspection, Mr. Oppong said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, and Emily's quest to improve the road network in the district was on course with the execution of various projects.
He added that resident Akufo-Addo's government has raised the standard of the people in Dormaa West through investment in key sectors including roads.

Additionally, the DCE asserted that the declaration of 2020 as the year of roads was not meant to attract votes but a deliberate move to tackle most of the deplorable roads across the country which Dormaa West is included.
He assured the people of Dormaa West of his unwavering commitment to stakeholders and lobbied for more projects and interventions to improve their livelihood.

“The Assembly would full responsibility for monitoring and ensuring that projects conform to good and quality standard of work”.
However, some of the residents who spoke to this reporter thanked the President of the Republic of Ghana for giving Dormaa West its fair share of development projects, which they believed would surely transform the District and also boost the local economy upon completion.
