Dormaa West DCE Cuts Sod For Construction of Two Facilities
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Dormaa West District in Bono Region, Mr Francis Kwadwo Opong on Monday March 6 2023, cut the sod for the construction of 1 no 6 unit classroom block at Presbyterian primary school , Nkrankwanta to enhance teaching and learning in the school. 

 The contractor ' R. COSTAB assured the DCE that he would do his best to finish the project on time and hand it over to the assembly.  The contract sum is about GH¢ 800,000, and the funding is from District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).
Speaking on behalf of the headteacher of the school,  Mr. Samuel Owusu thanked the NPP government and the DCE  for remembering the school as far as basic school infrastructure was concerned.  

Immediately after the sod cutting for the construction of the school,  the DCE, together with his Assembly staff and Nananom of Nkrankwanta, proceeded to the Dormaa West District Hospital where he  officially cut sod for construction of  EMERGENCY AND ACCIDENT UNIT.  The project, which  funding, is DDF,  is  to be completed within a six months period by a contractor known as YAKANA VENTURES. 

At the hospital,  the Chief of Nkrankwanta and Ankobea Dompemhene, Nana Ekyia Ekumbi II thanked the DCE and the Nana Addo government for various infrastructural projects in the Dormaa West District. 
 He also entreated  all stakeholders to act as supervisors to ensure the smooth running of the project. 

Mr Oppong assured the gathering of his commitment to ensuring that the Dormaa West District gets its share of the government's numerous projects.  
He was accompanied by party faithful led by Chairman Kwame Owusu.
