Some residents who were receiving treatment at the same hospital confirmed how the nurses were rude towards the disabled boy after his parents were nowhere to be found.

A 15-year-old disabled boy named Kofi has been dumped in the Mankessim street in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region after the Saltpond Government hospital staff rejected him.

Information gathered revealed that the disabled boy was found dumped from a private car with his wheelchair after the car reached Mankessim lorry station and drove away on Tuesday evening around 10:30 PM.

The boy who can't recall where he comes from was suspected to have been ignored by the Saltpond Government hospital staff after his parents run away for alleged unable to cater for his bills when he was admitted to the hospital.

speaking with some residents at Mankessim they disclosed that some nurses were spotted shouting and insulting the disabled boy whiles receiving treatment 'saying' his parents has run away after sending him to the hospital for treatment.

The boy who cannot speak well only gave his mother's name as Obaa Yaa but were unable to tell where they hails from.

Meanwhile, the Victim has been sent to Mankessim Divisional Police Command for investigation.

Mankessim DOVVSU command had promised to assist the police by conducting a massive investigation into the matter to assist the young boy locate his family.

This has become a major concern to some residents which they have called on netizens to desist from being cruel to disabled persons.
