Development do not fall from heaven; accept e-levy to boost economy - Chairman WONTUNI tell Ghanaians

The Ashanti regional chairman for the new patriotic party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as chairman wontumi has disclosed that the national Democratic Congress(NDC) has never been in support of the NPP when it comes to policy implementation since former President, his excellency John Agyekum Kuffuor's era.

Chairman Wontumi citing an example stressed that famous planting for food and jobs, national health insurance scheme among other vital policies have been rejected by the NDC already.

"I'm not surprised and Ghanaians should never be for NDC kicking against the E-LEVY policy because they are known for doing that", he stressed.

He asked Ghanaians to pay taxes since it is the only source of development.
 
Development does not fall from heaven hence we all need to pay taxes to boost the economy. adding that, covid-19 have ravaged a lot and all we need to do as Ghanaians are to support the government aim by adding up small tax to ease the hardship on all of us the chairman said.

He further disclosed that looking at how the NDC mismanaged the economy when they were voted into power, NPP must win come 2024 election to save Ghanaians from their hands.

He made this known at Adansi Asokwa when he met all the NPP party executives within the Adansi ahead of the regional election. Meanwhile, executives within the advance were inaugurated.

Chairman Wontumi settled for the bills of forms for all the executives within the Adansi enclave as part of gaining momentum towards breaking the eight. The executives present were happy and thanked him for settling their bills.
