According to the traditional rulers, after 20 years of Long standing chieftaincy dispute amongst the chiefs of Abaasa peace has finally prevailed in the area hence all are encouraged to promote Development rather than violence.

THE TRADITIONAL office rulers in Abaasa Traditional Council have Charged the youth group and indigenes of Gomoa Abaasa to desist from violence and social vices.
According to the traditional rulers, after 20 years of Long standing chieftaincy dispute amongst the chiefs of Abaasa peace has finally prevailed in the area hence all are encouraged to promote Development rather than violence.
Addressing a press conference today , the Ninfahene for Abaasa traditional council Nana kwabena Ansah X who spoke on behalf of the traditional council used the opportunity to advise the youth and some Royal family members to desist from any form of violence but help to develop Gomoa Abaasa
In Addition, Ebusuapayin Kweku Fenyin pleaded with all the family members in and outside Gomoa Abaasa to assist the current leadership in the family to buried their beloved Deaced Nana Okwadum Atta IX .
